Tétiyette and the Devil

Tétiyette and the Devil is a short story based on a young lady in scan for a spouse to wed. The creator, who stays mysterious, presents different fundamental messages, including recognizing those of power and recognizing that things may not be what they appear.

One of the central matters in this short story would be Tétiyette's cooperations with the "Devil", or her degenerate spouse to-be. Her mom tends to the man's shrewd nature and tells Tétiyette, "At night after you go to bed, you will stick your husband with [a pin]. If blood flows, he's a human being, but if slime oozes, he's a devil."  She later finds that the man is for sure a demon, and keeps reality mystery from whatever is left of her family. This demonstrates the primary good message of following legitimate heading to be valid.

Later in the story, Tétiyette winds up in a crises as she's being eaten entire by the devilish spouse; she has resisted her folks and now faces the severe outcomes of remaining with the villain. She shouts out: "Oh, Mama! Oh, Mama! ... The man to whom you married me...is a terrible devil! ... He's eating me up!" Not all things are what it is by all accounts, the creator passes on.

By and by, this short story paints an exceptionally clear picture in my mind about the ethics displayed. It's a superb medium to convey data on the methods for story. Using what I have learned from this it can add to my knowledge about the Caribbean culture.
